Master: 6 year course (or bachelor degree plus 2 years post graduate study) requiring 150 Standard College Credits or equivalent.

Doctorate: 8 year course (bachelor and master degree plus 2 years post graduate study) requiring 180 Standard College Credits or equivalent.

Credits are not transferable and Buxton University degrees are not suitable as entry vehicles to post graduate courses at traditional institutions.

Programme Structure:

Buxton University offers distance programmes and portfolio assessment. Its programmes are geared towards older applicants who have already achieved much outside the classroom rather than the young student straight out of school for whom a traditional residential programme would have been more suited.

Complimenting the distance programs, Buxton University offers short residential concentrations. These are held at outsourced facilities leased for the duration of a particular programme. Often, these concentrations are timed to coincide with traditional vacation periods and aimed at assisting working professionals who would find it hard to get away at other times of the year due to work commitments.

Buxton University programmes should not be considered suitable for those under 21 who would lack depth and experience to successfully negotiate them.

Graduation requirements:

Buxton University does not have formal entry requirements although it discourages those under 21 to enrol and does require a good working knowledge of English (TEFL, TESOL, etc)

Our institution does not allow candidates to apply directly, preferring instead for them to have their application pre-screened and prepared by an authorised agent. This also helps reduce costs.
